i want to know about car depreciation

i buy used cars in my taxi company in 2024 and i start company in 2024 i buy cars in september

i want to know how to depreciate cars values i am doing tax return

Hi

The system can handle this for you automatically if you added the car as an asset under Anläggningstillgångar.
First activate that depreciations should be made monthly or annually.

Then under anläggningstillgångar you need o first of all enter the car as an asset. When it's registered the system will do your depreciations eithet monthly or annually depending of the choice made under the settings.

And i buy the used car in taxi

lets say i buy car without vat 100000 kr

i just need to only enter 100000kr value

any residual value etc other things?
years ?
and i used account 1241

and in above pictures its 1240

All you need to enter is these fields. marked with yellow.

When it comes to the account do a correction and transfer the amount from 1241 to 1240 by using Bokföring > Verifiktioner Ny verifikation.

1241 Kredit 100 000
1240 Debet 100 000

one question what i need to enter in useful life

how many years ?
as i buy it used car and its taxi already it has driven 27000miles

how many years should i write ?
the car is 2020 model

is it ok to write 2 years ? Or three 4?

The most common depreciation is a period over 5 years, 60 months. Will the cars last that long, do you think? You have to guess a bit how long they will last and depreciate over that time.
